eScrip:  

Help Addison earn money by participating in eScrip.  eScrip is proven to be a fantastic resource for fundraising where participating business partners contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to the school, group or organization of your choice.

 

Here's How it Works

•  You register any one or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for use in the program.

•  Participating merchants will make contributions to your chosen group, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered.

•  Your purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child's behalf!

Auction Volunteers Needed

Display Board Coordinator

Do you have a hidden talent for advertising?  Help put the display boards together for the auction. You have an army of volunteers already signed up and willing to help you with the job. Just lend us your creative and organizational talent! This job is typically done 1-2 weeks prior to the actual auction.

Like to take pictures?   This is a great way to mingle and catch some good shots.

Fundraising is how we are able to finance the programs and events at our school. Your financial donation and/or donation of your time through volunteering makes a positive difference in your child's experience at school. These are the different fundraising events held throughout the year:

Fall Auction

Come to the best party you ever went to, because you know about everybody there. Plus, the goods! The food! The music! This is the largest fundraising event for Addison, so please support our school and children by attending and volunteering. We also would love your help. Volunteer.

Nov. 3 2007

eScrip

eScrip is an organization that bridges commerce with fundraising. Parents are requested to register their credit cards, debit cards and certain loyalty cards (such as Safeway) through the eScrip web site. Our school receives a percentage of purchases made with these registered cards. This is a wonderful way to help raise money for our school  because it doesn t cost you anything. Once you sign up, the PTA will send out reminders when you need to renew certain credit or loyalty cards. eScrip.

Yearlong

Book Fair

Using a book vendor (such as Scholastic Books), there is a week-long book fair in the MP room. The vendor provides our school with the inventory of many books and items to purchase. Families come and purchase books for themselves, teachers, etc. and our school receives a percentage of sales. Book Fair.

Gift Wrap

Families may purchase various items (gift wrap, boxes, chocolates, etc.) from a chosen vendor (traditionally Innisbrook). Our school receives a percentage of sales.  Families outside of the area may be able to order the items online and credit the sale to a specific child and school. Orders may be mailed to customers as well. Gift wrap.

PTA Membership

Addison would not be the same without your support. The PTA is a great way to speak for your children and get involved with the school. We have great programs throughout the year, supported by the PTA. Please join today.

Why get involved in the
Book Fair?

  • The Book Fair raises funds for the Addison Library.
  • The Book Fair is a fun and easy way to get gifts for the holiday season and to stock up good reading for the winter break.
  • The Book Fair is also a fun place to work. You can be a cashier, help do set-up, organize publicity, do clean-up, and learn about how to run the event.
