Noon Chorus performs Holiday Favorites

Tuesday, December 8, 2015 - 10:55am

The Addison Noon Chorus kids have been busy spreading holiday cheer! Last week they performed not one, not two, but THREE holiday concerts. They held an evening concert for parents, a morning concert for the residents of Channing House, and a noon concert for Addison students.

The kids sang a variety of songs ranging from holiday classics to pop favorites. The older grades got to lead the rest of the choir in singing Favorite Things (3rd graders), The Sun Has Got His Hat On (4th graders), and I Hope You Dance (5th graders). The choir wowed the crowd with classics like I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles, Dream a Little Dream of Me. Other songs included DJ and Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better. Finally, what would a holiday concert be without a spirited rendition of Jingle Bells?

What a great way to start the holiday season! Congratulations to all the young singers who performed, and many thanks to PTA Noon Chorus volunteers Joanna Finnis, Jennifer Ibbotson-Brown and Jillian Maxim.
