Annual Highlights
| | Harvest Hoedown - October 5, 2007 A Classic! It's our first event of the year and it's all for fun. Dig up a bandanna and cowboy hat. Pack a picnic dinner or purchase a BBQ dinner. Dance to live twangin' music and most likely, do the Macarena (again . . .) Please volunteer to help with food, set-up, clean-up, decorations, or music, too. For more information about volunteering, please contact Jennifer Landesmann at jandesmann [at] gmail [dot] com | |
| | You think it won't be fun but then it turns out to be the best party you ever went to, because you know just about everybody there. Plus, the goods! The food! The music! Even resolute non-party-goers find themselves looking forward to this big Addison shindig. It's our main fundraiser, too. | |
| | Start the day off right with Peet's coffee and green-faced warty characters that are not your spouse. Starts at 7:45 AM with the parade going from 8:00 to around 8:30. Bring a camera and wear shoes for standing on the damp field. | |
| | Fall book fair: October 5 - 12, 2007. (Perfect for getting holiday gifts and reading material for the break). The kids love book fairs and the funds we raise go to the Addison Library. | |
| We are a community and invite you all to come after drop off for a PTA parent coffee. We hope to see you, hear how your children are doing at Addison and answer any PTA questions. Parent Coffee Dates: Sept. 7th | ||
| Heritage Dinner – April 18th 2007 The Heritage Dinner provides an opportunity to learn about the rich diversity of our community, as families share their cultural heritage through food. This is a great way to learn and appreciate the cultural diversity of our school community as well as for widespread parent participation. We always are looking for volunteers, please sign up to help today! Please contact Sondra Short or Volunteer. | ||
